Buyback

Gold you bought should be gold you can sell. Buyback happens at the counter, priced to the day's rate, paid on the spot.

What we buy

金龙珠 pieces, with their certificate or receipt, at the day's published buyback rate. We also buy gold purchased elsewhere once it has been tested at the counter in front of you.

How the price is worked out

Weight × purity × the day's buyback rate. Workmanship — the making of the piece — is not part of the metal value and is not returned; that is standard across the trade. The board at the counter shows selling and buyback rates side by side, and they are the figures we use in front of you.

What to bring

The piece, your MyKad or passport, and the certificate or receipt if you still have it. Missing paperwork isn't fatal — testing takes minutes — but a bar with its assay seal intact gets the best price.

How you're paid

Weighing and testing happen in front of you, and the offer is written down before you decide. Accept and payment is an instant bank transfer before you leave. Larger amounts can require a day for verification under anti-money-laundering rules.

Trading in

The buyback value can go straight toward a new piece in the same visit — the usual path for upgrading bars into jewellery, or a small piece into a larger one.
