Privacy notice

What we keep, why we keep it, and your rights under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 — written to describe what this system actually does, not a template.

1. What we hold

Your name, mobile number, date of birth, delivery addresses, order history, rewards ledger, and any notes you give us for an order. We do not hold card numbers — payment details go to the payment provider, not to us.

2. Why we hold it

To take payment, deliver orders, issue certificates, honour warranty and buyback on your pieces, and keep the transaction records the law requires of a gold dealer. Marketing messages are sent only if you opted in, and you can withdraw that at any time from your profile.

3. Your number is your identity

You sign in with your mobile number. It is never displayed publicly, and it cannot be changed from inside the account — that deliberately takes a call to the shop, so nobody else can quietly move your account.

4. Who else sees it

The courier receives your name, address and phone number to deliver. The payment provider processes your payment. Authorities receive records where the law demands it. Nobody receives your data for advertising — we do not sell or rent it, full stop.

5. How it's protected

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Staff access is role-based — a counter assistant and the owner do not see the same things — and sensitive actions are written to an audit log with the acting staff member's identity.

6. Your rights

You may ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have your account deleted — subject to the transaction records we must keep by law. Ask at the counter or by phone; we verify identity first, for the same reason we verify it before a password reset.

7. Cookies

This site sets only what sign-in, language and the cart need to function. There are no third-party advertising trackers.
